Dr. Muhammad Abdulgany Hamadeh’s medical career has been defined by a dedication to excellence and a commitment to healthcare innovation. A graduate of Damascus University in 1983, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University in 1988 and a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at Northwestern University in 1992. Over the last three decades, he has been a respected figure in pulmonary and critical care, with a notable tenure at Midwest Pulmonary Consultants in Chicago Ridge, Illinois.
His leadership roles as the Chief of the Pulmonary Section and Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Advocate Christ Medical Center, coupled with his position as an esteemed Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois School of Medicine, underscore his profound impact on healthcare and medical education.
Dr. Hamadeh is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is a revered figure in humanitarian efforts, having co-founded and served as the president of the Midwest chapter of SAMS and led medical missions to northwest Syria and Lebanon.
