Dr. Radwan Asaad

Dr. Radwan Asaad was born in Idlib, Syria, and graduated from the University of Aleppo in 2000. He completed a one-year general surgery residency at Huron Hospital—one of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s satellite hospitals—from 2003 to 2004. Afterward, he undertook a four-year OBGYN residency at Wayne State University from 2004 to 2008.

Currently, Dr. Asaad practices at Metro OBGYN, a private OBGYN group practice in Commerce, MI. In his role, he focuses on Minimally Invasive and Robotic GYN surgery and Urogynecology.

 
In his family life, Dr. Asaad is married and has four children. His hobbies include playing tennis, soccer, and volleyball.

Dr. Asaad joined the Syrian American Medical Society in 2010 and served on the Michigan chapter board for two years. He led the GYN mission to Jordan in 2018 and 2019 and participated in missions to Lebanon in 2017, northwest Syria in 2023 and April 2024.
