On July 7-9, 2017, SAMS hosted its 17th Annual International Conference, “Dilemmas in Healthcare in Syria: Needs Assessment, Dynamics, and Ethics” in Istanbul, Turkey that brought a record number of 173 guests! The conference gathered physicians, humanitarians, thought leaders and health care practitioners from inside Syria, who shared their experiences on the front lines of providing medical care in crisis. The gala dinner brought together 420 guests. Funds were raised throughout the evening to support the families of our fallen heroes in Syria. SAMS is committed to supporting the families of fallen medical staff for seven years.
